Kesarwani College , Jabalpur was founded in 1964 by M.P.Kesarwani Shiksha Samiti , Jabalpur to extend good quality of college level education to boys and girls of the society in general and to less privileged section of the society in particular.Since, inception, college is affiliated to Rani Durgawati Vishwavidyalaya , Jabalpur. College receives grant-in-aid from Government of Madhya Pradesh and funds for development from University Grants Commission, New Delhi. Top

Initially bachelors degree programmes in Arts and Commerce were started with intake of students in tens only. However, because of excellent quality of teaching and dedication of all associates, college rose many folds. Strength of students increased gradually and post graduation programmes in many subjects were started. In 1972, B.Ed programme was started with intake of 100 students. Kesarwani College was one of pioneers to initiate B.Ed teaching amongst the private colleges of Jabalpur . At one time strength of students in B.Ed course increased even to more than 200 .
